Iran in uproar!

I'm supposed to be writing me thesis that is due in two weeks, but I've been glued to the computer screen all day.

There are some unbelievable scenes coming out of Iran today, I feel that the regime is literally shaken to its bone.

Mousavi's niece has been killed, and in total 8 people have been reported dead so far, with half of the casualties in the northwestern city of Tabriz.

There's not much to say, something big is in the making, and we might just see this barbaric regime fall soon.

My hope is a secular democratic Iran. The whole world would benifit greatly from it.

Fereydoun Hoveyda

H.E. Fereydoun Hoveyda 1924-2006
From Aryamehr:

Iran has lost yet another worthy statesman; His Excellency Fereydoun Hoveyda, UN Ambassador of Imperial Iran.

People like Hoveyda's, Bakhtiar's, Farokhzad's, Rahimi's..... are simply one of a kind; they don't make men like that anymore it seems.

My condolences go out to his family and friends. God bless him.

I did not hear of this until today, and this is sad news indeed. It feels as if only good people perish, while the evil masters of the islamic republic prevail. I refuse to accept this, and I am confident that the memory of these men, men like H.E. Hoveyda, will shine and create a new generation of Iranians who cherish their nation above religion, and are prepared to fight for a brighter future for the Land of Aryans, Iran.

May you rest in peace Your Excellency.

The Stupidity

Tabari IX:113 "Allah permits you to shut them in separate rooms and to beat them, but not severely. If they abstain, they have the right to food and clothing. Treat women well for they are like domestic animals and they possess nothing themselves. Allah has made the enjoyment of their bodies lawful in his Qur'an."

Makes me want to throw up.

Quote of the Month

Due to the lack of activity on my part these recent weeks, I will post another quote that I cherish.

"In total, everything that Iranians do on a daily basis is outlawed and the way people live their lives is illegal. Perhaps there is no other country in the world where there is such a cultural gulf between the people and its rulers."

- Younessa: "An Illegal Existence"

True "Parasites"

"Historical precedent aside, the present Shiite Iran is home to over 300,000 mullahs. The most descriptive term for mullah is "parasite." A mullah begins his career as a parasite, lives as a parasite and dies as a parasite, simply because he contributes absolutely nothing to the necessities of life, yet gobbles disproportionately more of whatever resources he can grab. "

Nothing New on the Horizon

Javel, ingenting nytt av verdi har skjedd. Ingenting som er verdt å kommentere. Ingenting irriterer meg noe vesentlig for tiden.

Food for Thought

"We establish no religion in this country, we command no worship, we mandate no belief, nor will we ever. Church and state are, and must remain, separate. All are free to believe or not believe, all are free to practice a faith or not, and those who believe are free, and should be free, to speak of and act on their belief. At the same time that our Constitution prohibits state establishment of religion, it protects the free exercise of all religions. And walking this fine line requires government to be strictly neutral."

—Ronald Reagan

Start up!

Greetings earthlings!

Velkommen tilbake!
